Richard, you have had a most extraordinary life so far.. I love the workshop concept (would this be available online?) The idea of food and memories is very near and dear to my heart- growing up (very) Italian in the Bronx, NY, and having food ALWAYS be the main event.
Great edition of TP as always! The only trouble is I then spend a half + hours looking up various things you mention. But it’s all good & worth the time! It also reminds me of summer of my jr. year at college, went home with a friend & took a job at Wright Air Development Center in Dayton. They took us around the first day to visit all these labs who interviewed us for a job (like we actually knew something). They kept talking about something called a computer (I had heard about these in cartoons) . So I took one job with the Computer : Now here it is & I’ve been involved with computers for 50 years! Thanks & keep the postcards coming 🙏
This workshop will be amazing for you! Such wonderful teachers. I sense something important coming for you out of this experience. Enjoy! And if you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend “Wild Mind Writing” by Natalie Goldberg. Enjoy!
Thank you Teri - it will be fun to see what the writing workshop brings up! Cool idea to write about memories of food, right? We've shared some pretty tasty memories when it comes to food and basically everything! ;)
I love this! I could see the whole thing happening. I'll never hear "Polk Salad Annie" without thinking of you now!
thanks. Never knew the words and now I played the UTube version by Joe White and OMG, another mystery solved.
Haha! Poke Salad Annie!!!
Love it!!!
Sounds great.
Love these ideas Richard, but love even more the photos of you in your early 20s. Imagine. abrazos fuertes

Keep up all your good works!❤️
Thanks Francine, I think everybody has memories of food growing up , no matter how humble or bountiful. Thank you for following.

Thanks for the encouragement and the recommendation Ned. Think I've seen her name on other similar books somewhere.
What a beautiful, evocative memory Richard. Thanks for conjuring up that moment in time (and all the fixin’s) for all of us. Bravo!
